Upside-Ways
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Upside-Ways is a little platformer and puzzle game, made for the Untitled Game Jam#29.
In this game you control a character who can change its appearance in order to modify the gravity.
I strongly recommand you to do the tutorial, before playing.
You can change the shortcut in the options, in the bottom right corner of the title screen.
Have fun playing this game !
Controls (you can change them in the settings) :
pause : Echap
move (on floor or on ceiling) : arrows Left/Right
move (on walls) : arrows Up/Down
jump : space
normal character (walk on floor) : N
gravity character (walk on ceiling) : G
wall character (walk on walls) : W
wall_change (when you are the wall character, change the wall you are on) : S
interact (toggle switches) : E
note : Blue platforms movements depend of the orientation of the gravity. They move along an axis indicated by the doube arrow over them.

Install instructions
Windows / Linux:
Just unzip the file and launch the executable. Don't modify the config.ini file, it could cause the game not to launch.
Mac OSX :
Unzip the file. Then open a terminal go to the directory where you unzip the file. Run cd UpsideWays_Mac_osx/Upside-Ways.app/Contents/MacOS/
. Then execute chmod +x Upside-Ways
. If you cannot run chmod
, run sudo chmod +x Upsideways
. Then you can launch the application.

This game is awesome! I love the puzzles that you go through as I feel they where really fleshed out in execution. Additionally, the controls are weird at first, but I got use to it over time. Great job man!
